About Fiber Solutions, Inc.

In 1986 when our organization began, the State of the Art in networking products were Baluns, and Cable Eliminators offering cost effective solutions over twisted pair cabling, versus coaxial cable. To meet this need we formed the NETWORK SALES Company . We offered a complete line of twisted pair patching products, cable assemblies, test equipment, etc. to help our customers implement this revolutionary technology. During this time we also served the emerging market for fiber optic products.

As time passed the role of fiber optics role in the networking field and predominately in the telecommunications/CATV field expanded greatly. To accommodate this growth we adjusted our product lines, offering an extensive array of fiber optic jumpers, patch panels, test equipment, fusion splicers, etc. As this product enhancement unfolded, our market place changed and we became more involved in the WAN environment, compared with the LAN environment. This change invoked our name change to Fiber Solutions, Inc. FSI offered a better definition of what we were involved in, and more importantly how our customers viewed our services and products.

During the early days as Fiber Solutions, Inc. we became known as "We be Fiber", interpretation a one-stop shopping source for fiber optics. Since that time we have constantly continued to maintain that position, by adding new products, services, and constantly evaluating new market developments for validity as suppliers, and new technologies become available. Also during this era we even became involved in the installation side of the business, by forming a joint-venture company to offer full turnkey installations. This experience has given us a unique perspective relating to how a complicated telecom network goes together, and the types of products, and the various expertises necessary to complete a successful installation.

In more recent years Fiber Solutions, Inc. has grown to become a well respected name in the fiber optic industry, offering the finest products available both as a distributor and a manufacturer’s representative. In recent years we have moved to a spacious 18,000 square foot facility to provide more room for inventory and staff members to provide the finest in customer service. We service our customers looking to purchase OTDR’s Fusion Splicers, and Transport grade test equipment as a manufacturers’ representative utilizing the engineering expertise of the manufacturers’ we represent, to provide the best products and services for these “Mission Critical” applications. As a distributor we stock many of the products necessary to install, and maintain your fiber optic network, including handheld test equipment, cable assemblies, patch panels, cleaning supplies, attenuators, splitters, hand tools, etc.
